Day 1  arrive at RiveSarthe by bus from CDG airport        7:00PM  dinner at RiveSarthe

Day 2   9:30AM  leave for Faiencerie (fine pottery) shop            www.faiencerie-malicorne.com                  
11:00AM   leave for La Fleche and Market Day, lunch at Le Moulin des Quatre Seasons
3:30PM   arrive back at RiveSarthe,   dinner at RiveSarthe

Day 3   rest day; walk into Malicorne for shopping and refreshments  

Day 4   8:00AM  leave for Giverny and Monet's studio and gardens    www.fondation-monet.fr
6:00PM  arrive back at RiveSarthe for dinner

Day 5   8:00AM  leave for Chartres Cathedral      www.chathedraldechartres.fr
10:30AM tour of the cathedral with guide Malcolm Miller
lunch at Moulin Ponceau and walk around 14th century area of Chartres
stop at a memorial to American pilots
dinner at RiveSarthe with Mr. Auduc sharing his memoirs. He was the youngest Resistance fighter to be
presented the Legion of Honor by General Charles de Gaulle and the Medal of Freedom by General
Dwight D. Eisenhower. Mr. Auduc is 79 and if unavailable, a re-enactment will be presented.

Day 6  free day    optional trip to Paris for €180: Le Louvre, Le Musee d'Orsay
dinner for all at RiveSarthe

Day 8  9:00AM visit to the Tapistries of Bayeux
11:00AM leave for Le Mont St Michel, lunch there, tour & dinner at cidre bouche producer

Day 9  tour of the 15th century half beamed houses of Le Mans; cheese tasting dinner at RiveSarthe

Day 10  8:00AM  leave for the Loire Valley      visit to Chateau Chenonceau and lunch there  
tour of Chateau Amboise        wine tasting at a local winery      snack at RiveSarthe  

Day 11  free day  (Optional French cooking class €35)    lunch and dinner at RiveSarthe

Day 12   bus to CDG airport
