cathedral with guide Malcolm Miller lunch at La Vieille Maison stop at a memorial to American pilots
dinner at RiveSarthe with Mr. Auduc sharing his memoirs, the youngest Resistance fighter to be
presented the Legion of Honor by General Charles de Gaulle and the Medal of Freedom by General
Dwight D. Eisenhower. Mr. Auduc is 80 and if unavailable, a film of his presentation will be shown.
Day 9 lunch outdoors at La Port au Roche on the banks of the Loir River; tour of the 15th century half
beamed houses of Le Mans; cheese and wine tasting dinner at RiveSarthe
Day 10 8:00AM leave for the Loire Valley visit to Chateau Chenonceau and lunch there
tour of Chateau Amboise Vouvray wine tasting at a local winery snack at RiveSarthe
Day 11 free day (Optional French cooking class €35, minimum 3) walk to lunch at La Petit Auberge;
dinner at RiveSarthe
Day 12 bus to CDG airport, arriving before noon
Total cost per person is 2,700 U. S. dollars. Air transportation is not included.
